Registration
- Participants must study the Event rules and regulations carefully. Upon submitting an entry, participants agree to accept all rules and regulations of the Event, the Official Rules as stipulated and those that may be later introduced by the Organizer.
- All information provided by the participants in the registration forms must be true and accurate. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from the race who has provided incorrect personal data/details on the entry form. No refund will be issued.
- Participation in the Event is voluntary and at the own risk of participants. Participants agree to absolve the Organizer, Event Producer and any sponsor and/or supporting organizations from any and all liabilities arising from bodily injuries, accidents, death or other losses during or caused by traveling to and from the Event venue during the Event or whatsoever reason.
- If the participants provide incorrect information, fail to submit the application form and pay for the entry fee by the set deadline, or fail to follow the correct enrollment procedure, the Organizer reserves the right to reject their enrollment.
- The size of the T-shirt cannot be changed after registration, and the Organizer will not accept the changing T-shirt size.
- Participants must be aged 3 or above. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the Event. For safety reasons, children aged 3 below are not permitted to attend the Event and their registration will be rejected by the Organizer.
- Upon successful registration, all entry fees are not refundable. No return, cancellation or transfer for all enrollments, including late and duplicate enrollments.
- The Organizer reserves the right to close the registration any time, whether before or after the registration deadline specified, without prior notification. No registration will be accepted on event day.
- Repeated entries will be counted as a single entry. The extra fee is non-refundable, no return, cancellation or transfer for all enrollments, and cannot be transferred to another applicant or other race. Also, the submitted form and information will not be returned.
- Incomplete enrolment will not be accepted.
- A confirmation email will be sent to participants upon successful registration. If you have not received any confirmation email after submitting your registration, please contact us by email [email protected] or call 2117 1650 for assistance.
Collection of Event Pack
- An email will be sent to successfully enrolled participants two weeks before the Event with instructions regarding the collection of Event Pack.
- Participants will be required to show a physical or electronic copy of the redemption email to pick up their Event Packs and other event materials. Authorized persons collecting the Event Pack on your behalf must complete the authorization letter attached to the Event Pack Redemption email with authorized persons' HKID and provide a photocopy of the registered user's HKID card to collect the Event Pack.
- All participants must collect their Event Pack and related items at designated date, time and venue. Otherwise, the Organizer reserves the right to revoke participants’ right to collect the Event Pack without prior notice.
Health and Safety Notice
- Participants are expected to understand that this Event by nature requires physical exertion. Only individuals who are physically capable and in sound medical condition should join the Event. The Organizer strongly encourages all participants to closely monitor their own conditions to determine if they are capable of continuing the activity. In case of sickness or emergencies, please seek help from event staff immediately.
- Participants are encouraged to protect themselves against exposure under the sun, by applying sunscreen, wearing shading headwear, and ensuring adequate hydration.
- Participants who are pregnant or suffering from chronic illnesses, such as heart disease and high blood pressure, are not advised to join the competition. The Organizer reserves the right to deny any registration, and ban or disqualify any persons considered or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the Event.
- Public liability insurance is covered by the Organizer of the Event. Participants should note that such insurance is not the same as Personal Accident Insurance. Participants are advised to purchase their own personal accident insurance and other relevant insurance according to their needs.
- If participants fail to complete the Event before the cut-off time, participants will be directed to leave the Event course under safe condition by marshals.
- Participants shall indemnify and/or reimburse the Organizer in respect of any additional expenses or costs incurred by the Organizer arising from or in connection with the fault or action or behavior of such Participants during the participation in the Event.
- Participants must leave the Event venue immediately if requested by any race official, medical staff, race director or security staff.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend the program of the rules and regulations. Should there be disputes, the Organizer reserves the right to the final decision.
- The Organizer, contractors, employees and volunteers will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries to any participants and spectators during the Event.
Use of Personal Data
- The Organizer and its agents shall have the absolute discretion to use any photograph, video or any other record of the Event for any lawful purposes including advertising and promotion of the Event.
- The Organizer and its authorized service providers (if any) will use the information that you supplied for the following:
a. Processing of administrative work related to registration, including endorsement, receipt issuance, payment notice issuance, donation record and relevant event notices, etc.;
b. Recording any communication with participants;
c. Preventing and detecting any activities that make use of this website for fraudulent or exploitative behavior, or activities that allow third parties to provide technical support and backup work in the name of this website;
d. Identifying the user or participant;
e. Any other legitimate purposes as may be required, authorized or permitted by law. - We will not lease, exchange or sell the personally identifiable information that you have voluntarily supplied to us, including email address and telephone number.
Extreme and Severe Weather
- If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 8:00 am on the day before Event, the Event will be cancelled.
- If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted any time after 4:00am on the Event day, the Organizer will call off the Event.
- If the Event is called off, the Organizer will strive to reschedule and any arrangements made will be announced. However, rescheduling is not guaranteed.
- The Event will continue unless any of the aforementioned weather signals are in effect. In case of any other weather signals being hoisted, it is up to participants to evaluate the situation, and the decision to carry on or withdraw from the Event lies with the individual.
- If the weather is severe or if any warnings are issued during the Event, the Organizer reserves the right to change the route of the Event or cancel it.

Additional information
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or shortening the Event for the following reasons, announcements will be posted on the My Boy Facebook Fanpage and this website.
a. Adverse weather conditions;
b. Landslides, rock falls or hill fires along the course;
c. Protests or blockage along the course; and
d. Force majeure i.e. due to the occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer and which renders it impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold the Event. A force majeure event shall include, but is not limited to, act of God, war, hostilities, invasion, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lockouts or disorder, outbreak of disease, acts or threats of terrorism. - In such circumstances, no refund of the entry fee will be provided.
- Should there be any emergency or assistance needed during the Event, participants shall contact the officials at the information centre.
- All prizes are not cash-redeemable.
- Any behavior including but not limited to endangering the safety of others or oneself and disrupting the Event, may result in disqualification.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend or clarify the above race rules.
